WHY WOMEN
TAKE LONGER TIME TO GROW IN SPIRITUAL LIFE The reason is love. They love a man and want to evolve with him. If a man is of higher nature then they grow with him very easily. If the man has lower soul then it takes years to find out about him. For western women it takes 8 years cycle and for an Indian woman 12 years cycle to get over a man or to realize that they have out grown a man. If they get a man who has no interest in spiritual growth but gives them children, house, general sound income, then it will be eons for a women to even think of spiritual fulfillment. Only few women realize that there is soul urge and personality urge. Personality urge for many women means getting married, having baby, having house, having a vehicle, generally getting along with husband and pushing the husband to come up. In general going to holy places or praying for family is their spiritual life. Very few women realize they have soul urge. Women will grow according to whom they love. That is why a great man is needed for women’s evolution. If the ladies have a great guru and follow their teacher without inhibitions, then they grow fast. Secondly Maya operates in the relationship. Women when they have sex with a man cannot look up to him. Some were respect and listening goes out of the door. Many a time’s women also do not find man inspiring or intoxicating to that level. Therefore women will grow if they have great guru or great husband, otherwise their growth is slow and many cases it is stunted. They also have fear of rape and sexual invasion which makes them to avoid many risks which will help them to grow. That is the reason I think many spiritual tradition avoid women. Many women can surrender in love and flow when they trust a man. This is truer of guru yoga. Women need a focus on love. Greater the focus then greater will be the love. When a man aspires for enlightenment, women can give him that wish. If a man wishes for money then she will give that.
