WHO CAN SEE GOD?

In my younger days I used to believe that anyone who makes enough effort and energy can see god. Then slowly these days realization has dawn to me that everyone will be interested in search of god. It is only higher souls who will have yearning and very advanced soul will have intense thirst and need for god.
For normal people god is at a distance. The reasons are the daily routine grind, duties and responsibilities that will not allow people to pray. Take computer person who works for more than 12 hours and then comes home. He would like to sleep and relax than search for god. Some of them have to compromise on the morality values for the sake of survival. In essence it means they will not have life style which will not allow them to pray or meditate.
Therefore to seek god one needs lot of time, security and less need to maintain themselves due to work.
When this happens with guru, sadhana, devata and kshetra then the person will be successful in sadhana.
Next time you have yearning for god ask yourself whether your life style, routine, duty and responsibility will allow you to pray for more than 8 hours. This questioning will tell you the reality.
Some of them have a very comfortable life style and yet they cannot pray due to their habits. I have seen many monks who have no inclination for long prayers. They just do some minimal prayer because the ashram or some routine needs to be followed.
I was astonished in my spiritual search that wearing a ghreuva does not mean they pray long. In fact some of the house holder’s spiritual practice and routine will put these monks to shame.
