This is a very difficult concept to believe. If you notice carefully lot of people have magical powers or employ magical power unconsiously. One of my student who is a Brahmin priest. He told me a strange story. He said “I shouted at my wife for few minutes. Within 15 minutes my cell phone had problems and i was forced to use my wife’s cell phone”. Luckily he saw the correlation. He shouted at his wife previous night, fought with her and got in to the train. Secondly he kept a meeting of elders in his family which is called panchayat. The same day his boss called him for a meeting to dicuss his performance. He has been given three months to improve his performance or get out of the organisation. Every one of us has power. Praise some one in their presence and they can see 10 faults of any one, Some people are good in creating financial fears or loss of job. They are seductive. I have seen in film of Walt diseny where mogli the boy will be seduced by a snake. The snake eyes will change and so will be mogli’s eyes. These people can penerate other person’s defense system very fast and create fears As such opposite is shanthi where any person or circumstances or people will become positive, cheerful and happy in spite of any hardship. The place where they lived creates vidveshana. If you go to someone’s houses you will feel a kind of restlessness. This will be there for few places even though one is peaceful. This place can create ucchandana. shanthi happens in any temple were one feels peaceful annd happy Mohana - some places we want to see again and again. This is like scenic place etc. the place has attraction beyond normal relams. of course tantra classify burial grounds hosipital cementry as these kind of negative places In our modern times of wires or technology, towers have been put.
