I bow down to holy feet of my devata.

I bow down to holy feet of all gurus

I bow to holy feet of great teacher sensei kirtie.

When I read the Robert svoboda book, I use to wonder why is that vamachara tantra path not suited for every one. In fact having tried in that path for few years, I realized that I am not fitted for that. There is a huge conflict happening between the traditional people who oppose the tantra and aghoras. There are many young people and western people who strongly get pulled because it rebellious and out of the box.

  • First of all one need to check whether one needs guru like Arjuna. He had a teacher who was present constantly with him and learns things at the feet of the teacher. Some people are like ekalavya, where he got inspired thinking of guru and hence, presence of guru was not needed.  This path is not suited for majority of people.

  • Secondly some people will have single guru. They see a teacher and want to stay with them. It is like marriage. Then there are people who are like divorced couples, in the sense they may have been with different guru at different point of time.

  • Then there are people who see a guru, gets lost or lose the contact of the guru and then come back to the same guru. This is also another path. It is falling in love having affair and then coming to conclusion that the wife is the best. Old is gold.

THERE ARE THINGS ONE NEEDS TO CHECK. THEY ARE

    • Practice - for many people practicing in groups openly for number of years will disturb their sadhana. This trend was broken by Ramakrishna who goes into trance or Samadhi states. This is also one need to check. That is whether practice if kept secret will help them in their sadhana or not.

    • Sharing -Many guru share teaching, techniques, experience, things as they go to another level of consciousness.  Some of them when they share will have problems in doing their sadhana. Of

    • Course many common people do not understand on sadhana, the effects of it etc. one needs to check that by sharing does the practice become stronger.

    • Also find out whether you grow in ordinary circumstances or in extraordinary painful circumstances- normally death, parting, and losses teach a lot of life lesson to people. Some of the excellent sadhakas can chant their prayer or do sadhana in spite of their life being good externally. They get inspired to do sadhana by some one’s death, suffering etc. they do not have personal suffering but they do sadhana using other people’s suffering.  They use even common situations and people as challenging to win over the sadhana.

    • Meeting certain people - see whom u meet or constantly interact and check whether it helps u to do sadhana. Ultimately sadhana is like exams one need to do alone .till then find out whom you meet or share and do they help you do more sadhana. Basically having cooperative husband, wife, parents itself is a manifestation of good karma.

    • Going to some places- one need to find whether going to positive places like temples, mutts helps you to become strongly focused in sadhana and can take of another level. Some of these aghoris and tantrics find it easier to do in negative places like smashan, death places etc.

    • Insight – you need to check whether insight grows with talking and sharing or does it come to you when u are less talkative. I have seen that for my friend karthik the more you put him down, oppose him the more he gets insight in stunning manner. They are like opposite and in the hostile territory they deliver the best.

THE GURU WILL BRING EFFECT IN FEW AREAS.

    • Conduct - which includes lying, being corrupt for material success will change. One will become satvic and kind.

    • Money and external success- it will become peaceful for example many people go to guru to solve worldly problems and be successful. This is common with Sathya Sai Baba who is a great healer by himself.  For the tantric guru this will be opposite the more u go, more material problems one will have.

    • Insight - life will become easier and fear will be lesser. How to be happy and peaceful, the Sri Ravi Shankar way of teaching belongs to this style. Tantric teacher will hammer the mind set, make u face the fears and unmask the ego. This will be painful for a start but as the unmasking proceeds it becomes enjoyable process. Most of the traditional teacher of the present days does not do this because they themselves have not undergone this healing crisis or catharsis.

    • Practice - all guru stress on practise. Some stress on bhajana or some on mantra or some stress on regular pooja. Morning time is the good time for these practices. The tantric stresses like rahu kalam, worshipping wrathful deity and offering like ganja , wine to have progress . This is done by people who do upsanaa of sarbaeswar and prathankara devi and to lesser extent some of them do it on godess lalitha practise.

    • Life style - most of the satvic have very good life style. Like one marriage , two kids basically house and basic money. This helps them to focus on god very easily. This is life style needed for most people as love help them to focus easily. The so called vamachari life style which was practiced by vimalananda have problem with the wife, children, broken marriages. Divorces will be common this can be seen in the west. Every shift in relationship, house or work helps them to do sadhana better.

    • Habits - many people can not meditate when mind is heavy. That is why satvic habits like having bath, lighting incense etc is very helpful. This makes mind light. One of my friend told me that "when I drink or smoke ganja my concentration become sharp I become very peaceful introvert and contemplative. I can not cry or talk rubbish. This is a hall mark character of a tantric. One of the reason I left the path of tantra was that I came from a orthodox Brahmin family and did not have stamina in drinking or smoking like my sardar friends .

    • Talking - some people when they talk more they practice more . This is one of the technique of adviathian were discussion and listening is greatly emphasized. Slowly they teach you to integrate practise with awareness. In many other systems mouna is supposed to be very good. This is highly personal. For me the more I talk the more I become insightful.

    • Dealing with worldly people- till one perfects loving kindness or metta  one needs the world. After that only the world needs you. Periodically with drawing from world will be helpful.  For total withdrawal one needs lot of effort and practise which has to be built over period of years.

    • When is your meditation better- morning or night or in sandhayas, which tithies is better, you need to watch. Some of them who do bhariava pooja do excellent meditation on navami. Also check which day is better like Tuesday Wednesday etc. my teacher use to have New Year bash where basically we will mediate from evening till next day moring. the other small details includes posture, with clothes with out clothes, which direction, which place in your house. all these will help a lot in meditation.

Most of tantric can have few disciples. they can not have huge numbers because number of people who will accept understand the tantra and grow positively will be less.

I think 99% OF percent of humanity gradually grow up and they are more suited for normal path. tantra aghora is for people whose energy structures are different. We can admire them but becoming like them is tall order. There are good tantric and good traditional people. Like for every vimalanada there is a sathya sai baba, and for every aghori there is chaitnaya maha prabhu or adi shankara . Once u become clear of what kind of energy it will be easier to become one with god.

All path leads to god ultimately and once own’s sincerity is important. Then one slowly finds his way. Being sincere mean thinking of god every day and try for every minute. For wrathful deities energy out put is high and one needs to balance the conduct. For the satvic deities outward life is peaceful and slow growth is there. in terms of growth by and large majority is less than -001 % in a year.

 I would classify paths as
