I always wondered why the great rishis never focused much on technological advances. They focused more on inner life and secondly they knew that the greatest achievement is to be peaceful with the other people. They focused on this essential of how to bring this peace in people’s life.
Solutions are multi dimensional in nature. Each problem can be dealt in many levels and areas. They are physical, mental, emotional, energy wise, strategy , tactics, verbal, thought level , visual level , time level, and technological.
Some of the solutions solve the problems with short term effect but produce long term problems. That which solves problem karmically will be following the path of virtues. Virtues will have some minor difficulty but in the long run they will bring in happiness. The great vallar calls in gnana kan (eye of wisdom). Most of the time we create pain because of wanting happiness for our sake, ignoring other people pain. This results in karmic entanglement and difficulties.
Solutions which are peaceful in nature need self sacrificing. But will bring in peace in the long run. Of course people are very rajasic they do not want to lose any thing. In any case may all of us follow path of virtues
