The great patanjali talks on samyama. He writes that if one meditates on elephant one will get strength of an elephant. If one meditates on light behind the head one will see the divine beings. What is samyama? It is one greatest achievement in yoga. Before the yogi becomes siddha pursha this gift is given for working with the mortal world. The universal mind is connected but the soul does not experience the connection of the universal mind due to the personality, past karma and kleshas or dirtiness of the soul. When one starts working on oneself, slowly the individual mind merges the universal mind. When the individual mind connects with the universal mind then the down load happens in lighting speed.
Of course if we were to ask whether George bush will attack Iraq then one will become George bush and will see war room plans, the alignment of the forces and one can even feel the Donald Rumsfeld breath and smell of the scent. The pictures will be so vivid that one can predict that war will happen. No need of horoscope or any calculation. Of course god is very kind and one will be allowed to practise in step by step. One will be asked to concentrate on some one’s action, then their energy, then the thought, then the feeling and then the intention behind the action. For example if a meditators want to understand some one’s energy, he just needs to tune into the person’s image that is all . What they are thinking, feeling and intention of the action will be revealed. The pattern, cycle, trend of the person and the behaviour will be understood. First samyama will be done on a person, then with world leaders or with any thing in life. Suppose one were to ask such a yogi “please tell me ten ending for a movie”. The person will tune into the universal mind and will tell twenty different version of the same story with different ending. If you ask any question with out preparation he or she can answer. It is learnt by being a channel. Same can be seen for any siddies. If one were to imagine themselves as a plant then one can write the uses of that plants . This is called as dravya guna vigyan. All siddies happen when the individual soul reflects the power of god’s mind. The individual soul can channel that aspect of universal mind then the siddies happen. Of course the great patanjali calls it as samyama. sam plus yama which means one can equal or mind becomes one aspect which one is meditating. The artist, poets, scientist great business man can channel this energy for few moments. That is why they can influence the masses. Great ideas gets down loaded from universal mind.
