Many people think sex is for enjoyment and procreation. That is true in one level. The real level is that sex brings in churning of the energies. When a man and women mate the energies of male and female gets mixed up. This creates a churning in the energy field. Also when a man is over a women or women is over the man there is a vortex of divine energy. My teacher sensei kirtie used to say that when man and women mate baby comes out. Imagine the force and potency by which sex works. That is why tantra uses it. Sexual energy is intense, focused and it is huge in quantity. The mind gets focused very fast and generally we come in to the moment. When
the two people are in love, their energy body and chakras are very
open. Normal people do not open up like this to any one. Rather
they will hold secret and try to live in their mind. In sex two
people’s energy field open up. They have to live with the truth
and be honest with their partners. With sex the blocks liquefy and
come out. Blocks are always there for both man and women in various
parts of the body or in various chakras. Intense sex will open all
these blocks. Normal people’s routine sex is very shaky. Man wants to enjoy women and women will be in the giving mode out of love. In the sacred sex the women is the goddess who needs to enjoy sex. Man provides pleasure, love and oneness for women. Man gets energy, focus and control. The amount of self control and pressure he can with stand in the bed is the direct reflection of his life. The more he can control his ejaculation and make women happy in the bed the more situation and people he can have mastery. Man has to be vulnerable, sensitive and be open to women energy. Normal men close their eyes and also their imagination is wild and fast. They ejaculate very fast, may be matter of few minutes. So their evolution is also very slow. Women are like moon they reflect the energy of man who is the sun. If the sun is ordinary and in very low level, then she will take that kind of energy. When a man is shiva or vishnu or brhama he can rise the energy of the women to that level. So if the women soul has not evolved it will reflect the man’s energy field. My teacher used to say that a woman is instrument and man is the player. A good player can play any instrument. When a man sublimates the sexual energy in the physical level, he will have lot of energy to do work. In the mental level he will have knowledge and in the spiritual level when he sublimates sexual energy he will have siddies. In emotional level it becomes poetry, art etc. Normal people who are getting into spiritual life are told to abstain from sex because they can not handle the speed of change, amount of energy which comes due to the sex. Only great meditators know not only to sublimate this energy but also harness them and also use them for the evolution of the soul. That is why some of the great siddhas are shown with consort. Some of the rishis had spouse. Sex is one of the last bastions which needs to be mastered before one’s own spiritual life opens up in different level. One will require teachers guidance, lot of will to harness these sacred act. To see the bed as meditation seat and women as living shakthi and sex as act of maithuna in offering and sublimating the energy to higher chakra will be one of the last barrier before one will bloom into brahamanada. It is the way of higher soul and not for every one. Mastery in sex is not very easy. The instinct of life will take over. It is not mind or heart. It is just base instinct, the very foundation of life. One needs tremendous insight, spiritual control to handle these matters.
