MEDITATION--- AN UNDERSTANDING by Chennai based K.B.Gopalakrishnan 4th, June,2007 4:00 PM Every meditators will come to a certain points where he or she will need deeper understanding to go in to the ultimate journey.
Letting go of mass level of interest and taste- for example many musician are really world class. Yet they are never appreciated by the masses. Some of them are so unknown that if one see their talent and ability they will be far superior to the so called greats and famous ones. It is said that tansen guru was so genius. But he is not even remembered by any one. For example the first wife of Pandit Ravi Shankar, Mrs Annapoorna is the daughter of the legendary Ustad Aladdin khan. She is supposed to be superior in music. Not many people hear about her and she also does not have famous disciples.
When a meditator practices any art or science they will reach excellence quickly than the normal people. Understanding of the subject will be far superior to the common tastes. They can out perform any of the so called recognized or famous people in the field who don’t meditate. A meditator is truly far away from the madding crowd.
Every meditator will mostly go beyond the mass level of standard, excellence and expectation. There are two options in front of any meditator. One is to go down to the mass level and try to rise it. In this, the person will become famous and well known etc. the second one is to let go of mass and continuing evolution. In this the nature will make them famous or insignificant. The great lahiri mahasaya or the great yukteswara giri never tried to become popular. they had handful of disciples which they trained and worked. This includes even the great rama krishna parhamsa.
One cannot be famous for meditation or sitting in caves. One can become famous only when we are connected with masses in one way or other. Miracles, teaching, books articles etc. in some way, the mass has to understand. One will have to choose whether one evolves one’s soul and let go of the mass or vice versa. Our Customised Products
