Every family carries the karmic problems with them. What ever parents do, it will affect their grand children. Karma will flow in 1st,3rd,5th and 7th generation. Just that people do not see the connections.
A friend of mine whose mother left her husband and got married to another man. Her children are prone to sexual promiscuousness.
One of my friend is addicted to ganja and drinks. His father use to drink a lot.
There was a man who was a magician. He used to create spilt between husband and wife. His entire lineage has problems in getting married or staying in marriage.
Just like diabetes’s which is genetic, habits character attitude of the parents get passed on to the children. There is saying in Tamil- what lion does 8 times the cub does it 16 times.
