Many gurus initiate their disciples into spirituality. Secondly all religion does initiate their followers. For example baptism in Christianity and Hinduism’s thread ceremony.
What happens when someone gets initiated?
There is huge down pour of energy. This enters the anta karna and then the crown chakra. Then it expands in all the 5 koshas like balloon which slowly gets digested over a period for time. It will be mostly within days for many people and for gross people it can take months.
Secondly some people may have head ache or stomach pain or loose motion because there is blockage of energy. If the energy gets blocked in the head the person will have headaches and spaced out feeling. If it is heart then they will have palpation and crying etc. if it is lower chakra some people have urge to eat.

Strength of initiation varies from people to people. For example if a great being of light were to give initiation it is like bringing in 10,000 volts of power like lighting. It will just shake your being from the very bottom. Like the tsunami wave one will feel the impact.
If initiation is done by ordinary being of light then it is like 1000 volt of power. It will have impact but will not shake the being.
Normally when higher amount of energy flows karmic blocks will be liquefied and what is liquid will come out of the system. This can make or break relationship. It is called as karmic stirring. Many people find it difficult to take. In medicine it is called as healing crisis. Before it becomes better it can become worst for some people.
Every time you meet a great being of light it is like refreshing the energy. My student jayashree used to tell that it is like battery recharge. Many times it is like having a psychic bath with divine energy. one will feel refresh. The slush of the world gets purified. Chakras, nadis and vayus even get purified. Many times mental body gets purified that is why there is great clarity.
Blessings and satsang are the ways of cleaning the energy body and chakras. So every time if a teacher is blessing (great beings of light) then it is like initiation.
When mantra is initiated it is like clearing the psychic blocks and many invisible blocks. That is why there is initiation in classical music; astrology etc. students do not fly with their power alone. A great teacher is a satellite. He will have millions of connection whom he will serve visibly and invisible manner.

Initiation can be divided into weak, strong and miraculous. The impact can be very strong, average and superficial. Presence, energy and level of flow of energy will vary for being to being of light. Normally a great presence will lift beings for many miles. Buddha’s auras suppose to influence people for 200 miles.
Any way the aura field, chakra size, energy flow will be easily 10 times more than normal people. we will have measuring instruments will come later.
