Many people want to love but there is so much pain, confusion, imperfection and longing that one wants to quit relationship itself. But one can not live alone. This is a painful choice and dilemma of life. There is certain confusion which needs to be clarified.
We start with wrong assumption just because we are human then we know how to love. Learning to love is itself a life long process. This is the beginning of human problem.
There are two types of love, one is human love and another is divine love. Human love has it own limitations. For example some one can not be at the two places, we can not read each other thoughts on mental plane itself,(of course some psychics and swamiji do this). For example one mother cannot love all the children with equality. There will be preferences and choices. Whereas the divine love is perfect. God is omni potent, omni present. God’s love is pure. My teacher kirtie said beautifully that “every one is searching for god. When some one loves it means there are seeking the lord not you". We want human beings to be like god but then human love has so much of limitations and it cannot match divine love. People expect perfection from each other because we want gods love and not human love.
Secondly there are 6 levels of relating.
Action is what we do. Speech what we say Mental is what we think. Thoughts are so fast that we think positive or negative of a person which is always very fast. It is Less than a second. Emotions will swing. It takes time for emotions to swing. It is always easy to get hurt and difficult to recover. The intent level requires lot of meditation. This requires time to uncover.
Some one relates to another person not in single dimension but in this multiple dimension. For example a mother might beat a child in action level but her intent will be very positive. The speech can be negative but her thoughts can be positive. Some one can be good in action level but mentally can think negative of a person. To act on all these 5 levels with clarity requires lot of awareness and meditation.
Thirdly there are also the past lives pull and push which many people are not aware. Your enemies and friends are continuation of the past lives. This also creates lot of confusion where many relationships can not be cut or added with ease.
Fourthly language itself leads to confusion. Take the word love it means so many things for so many people. Many comedians make a joke using the misunderstanding of words.
Fifthly every one of us has different rhythm. For example everyone gets hungry but the digestion happens at different speed even though they all live together and eat the same food. For example I have seen women not knowing when a child will get hungry. This also can be carried for mental and emotional levels.
Sixthly add the law of polarity. Just like day becoming night and night becoming day. For example you can be with some one whom you like. But how ever they are close you will get bored with them within 50 minutes. If some one relates with some one for three days they will find some negative faults. This kind of polarity operates invisibly in the relationship.
Seventhly mind by nature is negative and it requires more effort to be positive and requires less effort to be negative. For example if you are with someone who is very close, you may find faults for even small things. The closer u are lesser u see the other person as goddess.
Only god can be loving 100% of the time utmost some one can be 50 % or 60% of time. Many parents find they are not perfect in love but one will come to understanding that no relationship is ever perfect because that is the nature of human life.
No parents will be perfect ,no guru or no sibling or no lover will be ever perfect .
