HOW TO
OVER COME BAD MOODS.

This is written with the main ideas of sharing on spiritual
path and other subjects liked by me. I feel talking reaches to one
or two people which is very limited and has to be repeated. This
kind of writing not only helps a lot of people but also repetition
is less.
HOW TO OVER COME BAD MOODS.
One of the person whom I know came for meditating in my house in the
evening. He was very disturbed and tried his level best to meditate
and got a head ache. I talked to him for few minutes and gave him a
practice which helped him to come out of his head ache. Following
insight will be helpful.
Mind is like stream. It does not change the course of thoughts very
easily. It takes time and a bit of struggle to come out of the set
patterns of thinking. When some one gets into bad mood or negative
towards some one the energy gets struck up in the solar plexus. The
swara or breathing goes into the wrong flow. The best way to come
out of it is not by analyzing and thinking what to do and what
should be done? You need to understand that this analysis will only
aggravate the problem.
First chant om shanthi shanthi shanthi om for 15 - 20 minutes till
you become peaceful. you can do mostly 10 malas and if the problem
is strong then do more malas.
Secondly move the attention to all seven chakras up down. First
mooladara, then swastithana , then solar plexus, then the heart,
throat, eye brow chakra and then the head. Then do the reverse order
of head, eye brow, and throat till mooladara. When you end always
end in mooldara this cycle can be done for 20 - 30 cycles. This
exercise will break the locked up prana and make it free flowing.
One can also give reiki to solar plexus. Think of all the positive
things the person has done for u. redefine action of person in a
positive manner.
Normally it will take few days, weeks for people to recover. They
will also pollute the atmosphere by picking up fights with people
around them. Bad mood will follow like a dog. With this particular
meditative method the recovery will be fast.
One can also add the lesson to be learnt and the quality to be
perfected. This will also help you to have better way of bringing in
peace. Mind which is disturbed creates hell for self and other. Mind
which is calm brings in peace.
My wife said beautifully ' one needs to pray and seek god help to
perfect this quality". At the beginning of session pray for God’s
help. Rishis, ancestors to sthana devata also help to break the
negative moods easily. One can also add ista devata prayer instead
of om shanthi provided the deity is satvic.
