PROBLEMS OF BEGINNER IN MEDITATION
By Indian Astrologer K.B.Gopalakrishnan

The
energy will move in 5 levels.
From mind to heart
Heart to guts
Guts to situations
Situation to karya siddies.
Many
people ask me why the great saints are able to see the deity like
for example Ramakrishna parahamsa etc. First of all being in spiritual
life itself is a blessing. Many people due to situation, circumstances
and prarabdha get caught in endless work.
They cannot do sadhana .
Anyways
one who does regular pooja or sadhana will have a very important
barrier to cross. When they meet the guru or do some spiritual sadhana,
suddenly some thing clicks, as if the lightning has stuck in someone’s
soul.
Life looks beautiful. Suddenly lots of magical coincidences happen.
Suddenly the soul urge and personality circumstances meet. Everything
looks light and beautiful. Then once own attitude changes, ideas
get changed and there will be a soul pull and urge to meet the guru
or teacher or do spiritual practise. Everything in life looks pale
when compared to teacher’s words, lifestyle etc. Doing sadhana looks
meaningful, working on spiritual life passes on.
My teacher calls mantra as ‘river of sound’ or put in other words
‘whirlpool of sound’. The mind has earth element which needs to
be blasted. Therefore this whirl pool of sound or river of sound
will start working. Initially all the desires will come out. Then
the past pains, hatred, anger etc will come out in a person’s life.
There will be life altering events, situations and circumstances
to evolve. For example a boss whom we got along well can become
hostile.
When we are working, it can suddenly become meaningless. Our perception
of reality and situation will push us to evolve faster. When we
manipulate or do evil things, the price will be very high. We will
be forced to live in dharma. Many people will be given financially
what is needed and just in time.
When
someone begins the sadhana they feel they are special and other
people are inferior, a creature or a worm in front of them and treat
them in very condescending and disrespectful manner. Even small
experiences are exaggerated beyond a point.
They
will talk about the same experience again and again.
They Claim that they are the incarnation of the next great guru.
Most of them will pick up fight with old disciples and the game
goes on. Anyway once this barrier is crossed, what happens is the
really wonderful experience. Many people at this juncture want to
build spiritual shops, become guru and become famous. What is the
use of doing sadhana alone?
One should be
careful of this barrier.
