RITUALS

Many
so called sanyasi’s have condemned Indian rituals. If one becomes
very clairvoyant and psychic it will be easy to see the impact of
the rituals. First of all rituals are multi dimensional way of praying.
Many people pray and god gives answer to the prayer. Rituals is
systematised which helps us to have collective wisdom.
for asking forgiveness-in Indian rituals there is pradksina. As
one does pradksina, one asks for forgiveness and pardoness from
god. This forgiveness is not only for this birth for that matter
any janma. This helps a soul.
All the Indian rituals lift the energy of the place. The prana colour
and content changes drastically when a ritual or chanting is done.
For example when one does homam the aura of the place and the colour
of prana changes from black to blue to greet to white to golden
in some cases for few minutes. That is why many people feel calm
and collected after the rituals.
Secondly water which used a tirtha. If one sees the crystals of
the water it will be symmetrical and beautiful to look at. In fact
a Japanese scientist did research and found out the water prayed
over has different quality when seen in a microscope. Three times
water is sipped. acutya namaha, anatyay namaha and govinda namaha
and naryana svaha . The tongue absorbs the aura colour and the etheric
purification happens. The etheric aura gets cleaned and the colour
of prana in the tongue changes. Of course it varies for people to
people. The other use is one will able to chant better by cleaning
the tongue and the mind’s alertness is raised. Try cleaning the
tongue after brushing. One will see concentration increasing very
fast.
An asana is put. The reason is earth absorbs all the energy. If
one is sensitive and when one sits in the asana one will be able
to hold the divine energy more in the body. Secondly some material
will not allow the flow of prana to earth. One is darba. The other
one is certain character like calmness and kindness is also activated.
Next is psychic protection like acyta , govinda naryana during which
various part of the body is touched. Till I met my teacher, I never
realised the psychic protection. If one becomes telepathic one will
realise the value of it. Many times mood swings and other people
thought projection can be stopped with these psychic protections.
Many kavachas are given to break the hold of lower spirit or ancestors
whose thoughts can have devasting effects. Thought travels like
ripple. It is called yojana because it can travel 48 miles ( yojanan
means 48 miles another meaning in sanskrit). I would consider this
as a vow aspect of Indian rituals. As one becomes very strong in
meditation one will realise these small details lift our meditation
very fast. I feel if vipasana or yoga were to use these for their
bandas or meditation one can see very good results.
pranayama cleans the astral body. The chakras starts spinning faster,
the aura expands and huge amount of energy comes down from the anta
karna the spirtual cord of a person. In fact one can do nadi shuddi
with out using the mantras.
sankalpa is a vow aspect of the indian rituals if only some one
realises. They call it as vini yoga in tantra. For example time
factor like tithi, yoga, karana, ayana and paksha is aligned. Secondly
places are aligned by denoting which place one does the rituals
and finally the desire aspect is aligned. Time, place and desire
are aligned together. In some case dosha like sani dosha etc is
prayed to be removed. What a holistic way to tune the prayers. Instead
of allowing mind run here and there, one aligns in the best possible
way.
Quality of time has devasting effect on every thing. Remember the
west sees time in terms of quantity. Seeing it as quality has tremendous
impact in esoteric. One gets eyes which is blind otherwise in this
search of god. No other tradition has worked so well with time as
Indians.
Then there is punya vachanam this is used for etheric purification.
Every object is tainted with mental impression and emotional waves.
This takes the etheric hue, different shades and colours. In the
punya vachanam rituals the place or object is purified. Normally
the object has to turn gold in aura when it is done properly. some
times different colours are taken depending strength of the person
doing the rituals.
The tirtha prasadam will purify mind for one to two hours. The raksha
will open the third eye and to purify the blocks of the third eye.
In some cases it acts as psychic protection. The asirvadam is a
sure way to lift one’s personality in many ways. The higher energy
is transmitted in to the person by falling at the feet. askhada
or yellow rice plus chanting changes the colour size of auras and
chakras in the body. In some cases there is purification of the
energy. This is not very visible and it is slow. Any saint who has
done japa can have more impact than the normal priestly Brahmins.
As such asirvadam or giving vibhuthi or kumkum is one way the priestly
Brahmins regulate their energy which comes through the antakarana.
When one measures the prana level in the place where the homam is
done there will mark differences. The aura in the place of rituals
turns white or golden colours. It goes through astral wash. Some
times one or two months the energy is clear. In some cases it remains
little more than 6 months.
The ritual ghee is purified with fire to clear the astral, mental
and emotional impression in the ghee. Of course it is one of the
classical objects use to lift the energy. Many people know the medicinal
and mental effects of various food items put in the ritual fire.
For example honey will make one’s own mind sweet etc.
Ganapathi pooja is done to open the kundalini energy. Ganapathi
is the god of mooladhara chakra. The kundalini is made active and
divine energy is made to come into personality through antakarna.
The meeting of heaven and earth happens.
Many Brahmins feel hungry or eat a lot due to over activation of
solar plexus chakra. If one makes that chakra small they will not
be able to raise the voice. Doing sheetali pranyama will also reduce
the jatara agni which becomes active due to sound. When one does
sheetali after rituals one will eat less.
The different sukhtam chanted can extend the aura of the person
to 3- 5 mts easily. The chakra will increase in size and will take
2- 3 hours to come back normal size. That is why many people tired
or enervated.
Psychiatric patients will not like the chanting or fire because
they will become restless due to the churning of naval chakra. Lot
of fear comes out which makes them restless.
Any way there is so much write will do it some other time. Thanks
